Cat house

Everyone needs a break sometimes and cats are no exception. A cat house gives a cat a great place to retreat when it’s time to rest. Cats will remove themselves from a situation if it proves to be too stimulating; they also prefer a place to rest in which they can feel secure.

In nature cats will instinctively climb trees or find high rocks or cozy nooks to rest and sleep in. They have to rest in a place in which they don’t feel vulnerable to attacks and where they can have a vantage point of their territory. A cat house in the home simulates this type of setting.

The ideal cat house will be high up and cozy. Cats love soft furry textures, along with crinkly crunchy textures. Look for a cat house that has more than one entrance, they will feel more comfortable if they have options in case of the need to escape. Many cat towers have great little houses on them that are sure to be a hit.
