Cat condo

A cat condo refers to a cat house with two or more areas to rest. They may have one or two levels and often can be stacked or have multiple configurations. If there’s more than one cat in the home then each cat should have their own place to rest, a cat condo usually has at least two “rooms” making them a good choice for multiple cats.

Often a cat condo will be covered with carpet. Carpet gives them a soft material that can withstand some scratching. Some condos are even treated with catnip or another attractant to deter the cat from clawing unwanted items.

A cat condo can have anywhere from two holes or cubbies to five. They are usually a wood structure that is covered in carpet. The wood makes them durable and stable so that they don’t tip too easily. Cats will enjoy the cubbies as well as perching on top of the structure.
